A child prodigy in percussion, Sahil Patel has been formally training in Indian classical music under Tabla Guru Pandit Divyang Vakil for over 12 years. A born-performer, it is almost impossible not to smile and move with the music while watching him.

Sahil is a member of Pandit Divyang Vakil's tabla ensembles Tabla Ecstasy, Tabla Taandav and Ardha Taal Chakra. Sahil has shared the stage with artists such as Remo Fernandez and has performed in countries like Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. He has worked with musicians from different countries and music traditions and has performed at the SFinks Festival and Colorafestival in Belgium. He is also a member of the world fusion group, Taan.
