In today’s society, it is hard to find youth interested in Indian classical music. In spite of his modern attitude and interest in all types of music, Om has focused his time and energy on tabla for the last 7 years. Forgoing a career in science, Om has dedicated his life to music. In his performance, one immediately notices his charm, speed and bass. His positive attitude invigorates his work and motivates all those around him.

In addition to performing as a soloist, Om is a member of Pandit Divyang Vakil's tabla ensembles Tabla Taandav and Ardha Taal Chakra.
