Extremely dedicated to Indian classical music and his training in tabla under Pandit Divyang Vakil, Rahul Shrimali is a young, yet mature tabla player who has been performing professionally for several years. Authoritative in his art, Rahul's sincerity is clear in the difficulty, speed and power of his tabla playing.

In addition to performing as a soloist, Rahul is a member of Pandit Divyang Vakil's contemporary classical tabla ensemble Talavya (for the compositions Tabla Ecstasy and Tabla Taandav) and half-beat taal tabla ensemble Ardha Taal Chakravyuha, and Ardha Taal Chakra.
